John Dalton Biography
If you interest with natural science, especially chemistry and want to learn about it, you may found that one of the most well-known scientists is John Dalton.
He is an England scientist that propose about the first atomic theory based on an experiment and many chemistry law that really helps you understand about chemistry with well.
Because of his atomic theory, he becomes very famous scientist all around the world.
Besides being a chemist, John Dalton is also meteorologist and physics.
John Dalton born in Eaglefields, England at September 6, 1766, from a Quaker family (a religious group that exists in England in the 17th century). He has two siblings.
John Dalton born from a poor family that makes him can not enter the formal school to get a knowledge.
But it does not make him stop to learn what he likes. He learns from his father and a teacher that teaches in a private school called John Fletcher. He must help his parent even he is still young (he started to help his parents when he was 10 years old).
But John Dalton is a smart child that make a local school where he lives ask him to teach in there when he was 12 years old. John Dalton never enters to the University in England because he is a "dissenter" (someone who defy to enter to England church).
John Dalton becomes a math and philosophy teacher in an academy that also supports for a "dissenter" at 27 years old. But he resigned from that academy and become a private student when he was 34 years old.
One of the interesting fact about John Dalton that maybe many people don't know is he and his brother was born with color - blind disease. And because of that, he also proposes much research about the color-blind disease. At that time, the study about color - blind disease is very rare. We can say that maybe the doctor in the hospital at that time, also don't know the causes of this disease.
From his research, he assumed that color - blind disease is caused by color changing in eye fluid. He believes that there is a heredity component from his parents that makes someone can not distinguish red and green color. Even though his theory about color - blind disease not really popular, but his contribution to this disease is very helpful.
In meteorologist, he also has much research. He saves with carefully his note about the daily weather. He also publishes some book and paper in math, philosophy and English grammar.

- Atom is the smallest particles in a matter that can not be divided anymore
- Atom from the same element is identical in anything such as characters, mass, and size
- Atom from one element is differed with from another element including character, mass, and size
- Chemical reaction is a termination reaction, rearrangement, and re-merger of the atoms
- Atom is joining together to make a molecule with a certain comparison, round and simple. For example, water is consist of hydrogen and oxygen atoms where they were joining together to make water molecules with comparison 1: 8. Water in any place also has the same comparison between hydrogen and oxygen.
Some points of John Dalton atomic theory is proved not true, and it makes another chemist also try to proposed his own theory of the atom.
